Cookie policy
The cookies Pinchblock sets in your browser, what each one does, and how to change your choice. For questions, email support@pinchblock.app.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text value your browser stores for a site. Pinchblock uses first-party cookies only: they are set by pinchblock.app itself, never by an advertising network.
2. Necessary cookies
These make signing in and staying signed in work. They are set without consent because the service cannot run without them.
- Session cookies from our sign-in provider keep you signed in; they are refreshed while you use the app and removed when you sign out.
- Two ten-minute cookies carry a sign-in in progress and an account switch across the provider redirect, then expire.
- If you save more than one account for switching, a cookie remembers which accounts this browser knows for up to a year; it holds identifiers, never passwords.
- Your cookie choice itself is stored for 180 days so we do not ask again on every visit.
- When you open a coach page or offer before signing up, a cookie keeps that coach, the offer and the sport for up to 7 days so your first Explore visit can show them. It is deleted once used.
3. Optional cookies
Optional cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner or in Cookie settings. Two categories exist:
- Analytics: measure which pages and features are used so we can improve them.
- Marketing: show relevant Pinchblock offers on other sites and measure whether they worked.
4. Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Necessary cookies can be cleared in your browser settings, which signs you out.
